Writing a Shopping Dialogue
Objective
To practice writing a conversation between a customer and a store assistant.
Instructions
- Write a short dialogue (6-8 lines) between a customer and a store assistant. Include the following:
- The customer asking about the price of an item.
- The customer describing what they want to buy.
- The store assistant responding to the customer’s questions.
- The customer completing the purchase and thanking the assistant.
- Example Dialogue:
Customer: Excuse me, how much does this jacket cost?
Assistant: It’s $50.
Customer: Do you have it in a larger size?
Assistant: Yes, we have it in size large.
Customer: Great! I’ll take it.
Assistant: Sure. That will be $50. Here’s your receipt.
Customer: Thank you!
